Guided setup details

  1. Create the Monitoring Profile first.
  2. Select the Complex, Building, and physical site timezone.
  3. Save the monitoring profile and note the Monitoring Profile Serial and Link Code.
  4. Create or link the Main Tank from the monitoring profile page.

  • Main Tank is the primary tank and should be created first.
  • Manual Level Entry is for Main Tank trial/no-sensor use only.
  • Reserve Tank is optional and should only be added after the Main Tank exists.
  • Tank Objects are optional and should only be used when internal shapes or connected spaces affect capacity.

  • Mount the Pebble Monitor where it is protected and serviceable.
  • Install the selected sensor and route the cable with strain relief.
  • For Sensor Bus v1, use the approved M12 T-distributor and sensor interface/adapter where the selected sensor or module joins the bus. Do not field-splice the M12 trunk.
  • For RS485 Sensor Bus v1 installations, follow the M12 4-pin A-coded linear-trunk, short-drop, unique-address, connector-protection, and far-end-terminator rules.

  1. Power the Pebble Monitor.
  2. Connect to the setup Wi-Fi or configured network path.
  3. Use the Link Code from the Monitoring Profile record.
  4. Complete Connection Setup and Sensor Setup.
  5. Confirm the first live reading appears in the portal.

Device linking standard

Link the physical Pebble only after the installer has confirmed which Monitoring Profile, tank relationship, and sensor configuration the physical hardware is intended to serve.

Use the Link Code from the intended Monitoring Profile. The Monitoring Profile Serial identifies the profile, but it is not a substitute for the Link Code used by the physical device linking workflow.
Use Link Device when linking one physical Pebble Monitor slot to one Monitoring Profile.
Use Link All Slots only on a supported multi-slot RS485 Pebble workflow. Each intended slot uses the Link Code from its own Monitoring Profile.
If the local setup page reports that internet access is required for a linking operation, complete the site-network connection first rather than repeatedly retrying the link offline.
Before linking, verify the physical site, timezone, Main Tank relationship, optional Reserve Tank relationship, and portal Sensor Type are the intended configuration for the hardware being commissioned.
After linking, confirm the intended tank/profile relationship and verify the first reasonable live reading and timestamp appear in the portal.
When moving or replacing hardware, release the old slot or entire Pebble Monitor as appropriate, clear the old cloud link on the physical unit, and generate fresh Link Codes for the new relationship. Do not treat an expired or previous relationship code as a reusable commissioning credential.

Final checks before leaving the site

Use this as the handoff checklist after hardware and portal setup are complete.

Monitoring Profile exists and has the correct site timezone.
Main Tank is linked to the correct Monitoring Profile.
Reserve Tank is configured only if the site uses one.
Sensor type matches the actual installed sensor.
Device is connected and linked with the correct Link Code.
Tank Status page shows a reasonable reading.
